Languid (adj.) showing or having very little strength, energy, or activity Earnest (adj.) a considerable or impressive degree or amount Invalid (n.) a person who needs to be cared for because of injury or illness Sententious (adj.) having or expressing strong opinions about what people should and should not do Expurgation (n.) a cleansing Indiscretion (n.) an act or remark that shows a lack of good judgment Indignation (n.) feeling or showing anger because of something that is unfair or wrong Profligate (v.) carelessly and foolishly wasting money, materials, etc. Apoplexy (n.) great anger and excitement (spontaneous combustion) Immoderate (adj.) going beyond reasonable limits
