2. A Size up the door to determine swing; the number, type, and location of locking devices; and the
type of door and frame.

3. B Place the adz between the door and the door stop 6 inches above or below center of the lock and push up or down to spread the door from the frame.

4. C Place the fork of the Halligan tool into the gapped area with the bevel of the fork toward the door no more than 6 inches above or below the center lock.
