6 Weather Affects Non-Living Things
The movement of rocks and soil is called erosion Erosion can happen very slowly you might not even notice When there is a rainstorm, the affects on water is bigger Every time snow falls, it creates a layer on the mountain and sometimes a layer would fall which causes erosion

7 Weather Affects Living Things
Plant Adaptations Before plants die, they drop seeds in the soil and when they die in the winter, the same plant grows in it’s place in spring Trees that lose their leaves dormant and grow new leaves in spring Animal Adaptations Some animals migrate to warmer places or hibernate Animals that active during winter need to food, shelter, and stay warm Animals with fur grow extra in winter and shed the extra fur in spring

8 Extreme Weather - Drought
A long time without rain is called a drought We might be able to water our garden but it’s hard for farmers to water their crops Not only is the lack of water hard for wild plants, but also animals too
