Clinical Needs Assessment Project (CNAP) The OPG is conducting a Clinical Needs Assessment Project (CNAP) in order to better understand current trends in the treatment of chronic pain and opioid prescribing in Southern Oregon. The findings will be used to develop strategies for community alignment with current best practices for treating chronic pain and opioid prescribing according to CDC guidelines. The needs assessments will be administered in up to twelve clinics across Jackson, Josephine, Coos and Curry Counties by June, 2017.

Southern Oregon’s Clinical Needs Assessment Project
Purpose: to better understand current trends in the treatment of chronic pain and opioid prescribing in Southern Oregon. Findings used to develop strategies for community alignment with current best practices for treating chronic pain and opioid prescribing according to CDC guidelines. 5 clinics have completed 6 BB Currently Uploading hard copy data into Survey Monkey Participants will receive report with findings Offered Practice Coaching to support goal setting based on findings Feedback is that survey is both helpful and cumbersome, could be shortened Currently in process of planning “phase 2”, collaborating with OHA/CDC about next steps
