EXAMPLE... Picture 1 – evaporation of water, forming clouds Picture 2 – raining Picture 3 – rivers flowing into the sea Picture 4 – the original picture A cartoon strip sequence is a series of cartoon-style pictures that shows a sequence of events. The pictures are likely to be labelled or annotated. The purpose of using a cartoon strip sequence is to explore the learners’ ideas about the sequence of events in a process or series of processes.
