2 Mesh or Node? Q: When should we use the Node-voltage method over the mesh-current method and vice-versa? A: Not a clear answer. When the circuit contains supernodes or voltage sources between two nodes, use node-voltage method. When the circuit contains current sources between two meshes, use mesh-current method. When the circuit contains both, use your best judgement.
