4. Topic Sentence
Tell the reader what your paragraph is about! Each topic sentence should connect back to a point (prong) you mentioned earlier in your thesis statement.

6. Introduce your quotation Context (1 or 2 sentences)
Give the reader a glimpse of what is happening in the novel (plot summary) shortly before your quotation.

Essentially, Guy realizes he is not happily married to Mildred which leads to more questioning and the realization that Guy absolutely hates his boss and his job.
