7 Science Skills Monday (9/28/09)
Study for your test. You will have 10 minutes at the beginning of the period to prepare for your test. When you are finished with your test, pick up a Chapter 22 Study Guide and work on that quietly until the end of the period.

8 Science Skills Tuesday(9/29/09)
Work on your Chapter 22 notecards/vocabulary cards. When you are finished with your notecards, work on your Chapter 22 Study Guide.

9 Science Skills Wednesday(9/30/09)
Please write the question and the answer to the following: What are some benefits of mitosis? What cell parts are involved with mitosis? What are sister chromatids? List the steps of mitosis. What is the difference between body cells and sex cells?

Please write the question and the answer to the following: 1. What are the four stages of mitosis? 2. What is it called when the cell is "at rest"? 3. How much time does the cell stay "at rest"? 4. 12 Silent Reading Time The first 20 minutes of 4th period is designated as reading time. Please bring reading material to read silently during this period. If you do not have reading material, I have magazines available on my desk or books on my shelf. Please return them when you are finished using them for reading period. This period is for reading only. Please do not visit, work on homework, or sleep.

13 Reminders If you miss a day, remember to go to the makeup folder for your period to see if you have any handouts or worksheets you missed. If you miss a day, check with your classmates to see what you missed.
