Desert food chain BY: AUBREY SEVERA & NYONNA BALLARD

2 Producers In the desert, producers such as cacti, shrubs, and trees use sunlight to create their own food.  Since it is very hot in the desert, they are able to get enough sunlight to grow healthy and strong

3 PRIMARY CONSUMER (herbivores)
Primary consumers, sometimes considered herbivores, eat the producers since they only eat plants and not other animals.  Since the primary consumer holds in plants the Secondary consumer eats it.

4 Secondary Consumer After the Primary Consumer eats the Producer the Secondary consumer is on the hunt.   He is ready to seek his prey.  He finally finds his prey and is ready to feast.   Then comes the top consumer.

5 TOP CONSUMER The top consumer is the animal that closes the food chain and ends it all.  He has the most health in him because all the other animals eat each other so the produce travels from one living thing to another until it reaches him.

6 THIS IS THE DESERT FOOD CHAIN
This is a desert food chain.  A desert food chain is way different then a food web.  A desert food web is when animals eat more than one animal and the web will still continue.  This is almost all of the information you need to know about a desert food chain hope you enjoyed and learned something new.
