1. 3.21 Teacher Education
Entire section was recently aligned with Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation (OCTP) policy.
A. stresses that a minimum of 10 clock hours in direct contact with P-12 students for teacher education faculty AND deans is recommended.
B. makes reference to the Residency Year, so may have to be changed in the future.

2. 3.22 Teacher Professional Development and Residency Program
The Residency Year program was placed on another 2-year moratorium this past legislative session. Unless pulled out as a separate item, it will not be considered again until 2014.

3. 3.23 Oklahoma Teacher Connection - OTC (formerly the Minority Teacher Recruitment Center)
Now changed in policy, the mission of working with necessary constituents to develop quality teachers in our state will continue.
