The study of children from 5 through 18 years of age This course explores the following: Social issues that effect the 21st century families Knowledge of self: personality, temperament, esteem issues Growth and development of the elementary school-aged child Adolescence: Development, inside the teenage brain, & social issues Partnership with local elementary school: observations, teaching techniques, & service learning project
