5. 2. EU-CEG components in production
1. XML creator released the 27th June 2018
Bug fix: attachment XML size limitation increase up to 100MB. It is required to have Java 8 64-bit version installed on your machine to create attachments up to 100MB, otherwise you will be limited to 20MB attachments.

7. 4. EUCEG components release/upgrade planning
26 July 2018 – Upgrade of several EUCEG components at the same time
Impact for all EUCEG users : The System will be down for the entire day from 8:00 to 19:00 (CET time – Brussels time)

8. 5. Submission of "Priority additives" files status
The deadline for submission of enhanced reports on priority additives was 1 July
Unexpected issue in some of the EUCEG components disabled submission of extremely large attachments (> 20MB):
XML Creator was upgraded
E-Trustex tested with positive outcome
upgrade of Domibus scheduled for July.
Users were advised to use E-TRUSTEX for submission of their XML files >20MB
Dedicated technical assistance provided
No specific complaints received after the website announcement
Common Entry Gate is the only means for submission of product information provided by Commission Implementing Decisions 2015/2186 and 2015/2183 .
701 files on priority additives from 18 individual submitters
Average file size: 4,5 MB
Maximal file size: 74 MB

9. 6. XML creator tips
If you use XML creator or higher we strongly advise to use Java bit
[To use the current GUI in production - with the java applet – it is still required to have a 32-bit version of java since Java 64-bit versions do not support the applets. This might not be easy to manage to have both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of java. The support team can help you with this -> this problem will be solved with the new version of the ETRUSTEX GUI 3.0]
We strongly advise to not manipulate the data folder
Backup your data time to time, especially when you change the XML creator version. (copy the data folder, usb key, file system…)
Regeneration of the embedded database.
(4 files starting with eucegdata need be deleted before to restart of
the XML creator)
