Interviews provided context to needs of AP community AP staff adamant that opportunity for development and advancement was not adequate, and purpose within role was unclear Supervisors were unsure how to provide these opportunities for their AP team members, and didn’t understand how robust their contribution should be Administrative Professionals ? supervisors One clear need was identified…

The APCD program Program is and will continue to be a work in progress only one approach to solving our goal [ ] A yearlong pilot created for All Administrative Professionals in our LBRE Community in an effort to foster development opportunities

Develop a tool, guideline, template, or process to be used by LBRE AP present at a monthly meeting Train your peers with HR and APCDP support Flexible approach based on supporting team members to be successful Highlight “support from HR and APCD program” – I will guide each team through process, meaning creation of tool and presentation, practicing, delivery, approvals, training, AND coordination and communication with supervisor Most important goal here is learning - (Yes, it’s that simple.)

(Subject Matter Expert) Who All LBRE AP Community Members WHY Help during high workload or absence Guidance on a particular project or task Collaboration with others through learning Points of contact within departments WHAT: name? type of document? What information is included? WHERE: where does it reside? Who has access to it? HOW: how do we ensure it’s up to date? How often? How do we All attendees included include info: name, contact info, preferred method, org location, role, areas of interest Will be maintained/updated by Alma Yates Need process to ensure it stays current and accurate Where to host? What other information? Should be geared to include current skillsets, confidence levels, interested projects/skills, and SME roles What? Where? How?
