3. Muscles contract to move the body.
Muscles always pull, they never push.
Muscles work in pairs [example biceps flex (flexor muscle) and triceps extend (extensor muscle)]

4. Tendons – connects muscles to bones
Ligaments – connects bones to bones

5. Muscles are labeled as:
Voluntary muscles are muscles that you can move whenever you want to.
Involuntary muscles contract and relax automatically inside your body. We can not control our involuntary muscles.

6. 3 muscles types:
Smooth – found in the digestive tract and blood vessels
Cardiac – special kind of muscle only found in the heart
Skeletal – attached to your bones for movement
