MTSonline is designed to support a whole-school approach to planning, teaching, assessing A whole-school approach gives students the best chance of success in mathematics A whole-school approach is predicated on having a common planning framework for all teachers The Scope and Sequence Planners are an easy to use tool for enabling a common planning approach Start with a Common Planning Framework We have provided a CPF for Years 1-8 of NZMaths The CPF consists of the 8 Scope and Sequence Planners (i.e. one for each year level) The 8 Planners seamlessly link (sequence) the content (scope) across year levels A Common Assessment Program A whole-school approach is supported at MTSonline by a common assessment program A common assessment program sets common standards for all teachers and students MTSonline common assessments are provided for each of the 8 Year levels
