Tool Introduction What: R-Comm is an SPP developed and hosted solution for multidirectional communication, facilitating near-real-time notifications for: Flowgate activation/de-activation Load shed General messaging Why: R-Comm addresses gaps in how we communicate key reliability information between and among SPP, our members and their associated entities Will enable receipt acknowledgement Will satisfy compliances requirements Will reduce staff activity and oversight Who: All appropriate TOPs and TOs will have access via a web-based user interface When: target completion of 2/28/2019

Important Dates 11/6-11/8 – connectivity via MTE Portal
LSA must assign role prior to 11/6 11/13, 11/15, 11/27, 11/29 – test sessions Accept meeting notice for date that works best for you No formal registration needed Times are 1-3 p.m. CST for all sessions 2/28/2019 – production go-live

Use of RMS to Support Testing
Members can ask questions or submit completed checklists by completing an RMS ticket using RMS link: Use the “Project Inquiries” Quick Pick and select the “Reliability Communication Tool” option using the Subtype 1 dropdown menu If a new user ID is needed for RMS, click on that link and follow the directions for “Register Now”

Accessing the Tool in MTE
We will use the MTE Portal for testing – go to Important: Your LSA must assign you a user role before you can access the tool SPP supports the latest version of these browsers: Internet Explorer 11 MS Edge Chrome Firefox Older versions may not be able to view all tool content R-Comm Tool user guide available on request

Test Checklist Designed to assist users in executing test cases
Use to track results as “pass” or “fail” For failed tests, post a screenshot in RMS so SPP can help with troubleshooting Submit completed checklist to SPP for confirmation
