Your assignment is to create your own National Park Experience and share this with the rest of your classmates.
Each project must include the following:
A short history of the park.
The Park Address, Phone number, annual visitation, peak season for visitors, the best time to go, and nearest airport.
Five cool facts about the park
A map of the park, with your top 5 activities labeled.

8. How you will be graded Participation and work focus: 50 Points
Presentation: 120 Points (Rubric to be distributed)
Basic Quiz from Presentations: 50 Points

9. Things to Remember
This is a project on the outdoors, pictures/videos are essential!
The itinerary is 3 days maximum, but can be 1 or 2 days.
A PowerPoint presentation to the class is preferred.

10. Do Now
Open the PowerPoint presentation on the National Parks and search through the suggested links.
Your goal is to do as much research as possible to create your National Park experience!

11. Your Goal
Complete your National Park Experience by the end of the class day. If not, make sure it is complete for Monday.
Remember this is YOUR experience, not Mr. Butchko’s.
Make sure you cover ALL 10 POINTS! This is what I will be looking for during your presentation.
