4. What is beach erosion? What causes it?

5. What is beach reclamation?
It is the act of reclaiming a beach from erosion.
After a hurricane hits, many times people use beach reclamation to build back the shoreline.
Sand is brought in and used to build the shoreline back. 

6. How is it done?
Beach reclamation is often done through a process called dredging.
There is another strategy called The Walking Sand Snare.

This method is less destructive than dredging.

8. Why is reclamation done?
To build back beaches for public use
To protect beachfront properties.

9. What is the destructive process?
Erosion (many times resulting from a hurricane)

10. Can the destructive process be controlled?
Hurricanes cannot be controlled, but there is a way to diminish erosion.
