2. Brief Update
Offline:
Richard Hawkings – work on IOVDbSvc for Rel 15:
Reduce # of sessions in Athena connection to ConditionsDB
Uses same session for multiple folders in same subsystem requested).
Each subsystem then uses the same COOL session to get all folders for that subsystem.
The subsystem folder information retrieved is stored in a cache into the StoreGate.

TAGs will not be used until routinely produced”
For ~3 weeks ago, Armin reported TAGs (cosmics) routinely produced
State units such as energy in MeV
Links to documentation added to Browser
…But now broken…
Suggestion: Create special TWiki for ELSSI Help
Confusions on trigger tab
User selects EF chain name
Can see L2,L1 chain (under that EF chain)
Can still type a lower chain name
Better than previous! but can’t see the full chains w/o choosing

4. Feedback / Response (2) RENAMING BUTTONS (much clearer!):
We could not find the button for making a table and other confusion about the names on the buttons:

“1-D Histogram(s)”
“Advanced histograms”
Scrolling in the main browser pane is confusing (no useful suggestions offered)
Layout of panes improved
Why is header bigger again (was fixed) ?

5. Summary We have addressed all the feedback A lot of progress
Buttons working now or working better now
Plots working better now
Stream Names clearer now (issue resolved)
Improved Temporal functionality
Will continue to evolve
Hard to anticipate what the user will want first
Still TO DO for FDR: Data Quality tab
Will be directly applicable to all next ELSSI browsers.
Next version ?? “COSMIC ELSSI” ??
Many people routinely studying cosmic runs
Could be using a TAG Browser to get their data
Cosmic runs are taken/processed much more like real data than the FDR Runs … next step toward “Collider ELSSI”
