Four nearly half a century, the PBS program Sesame Street has entertain children and helped them prepair for school. Ever sense the show first appeared on TV on November 10, 1969, Lovable characters such as Big Bird, Grover Elmo, Zoe, and Cookie monster have been help kids explore letters, numbers, and even Spanish. Sesame street introduces children to the world in ways that help them understand and appreciate people of many culture.

Write a paragraph explaining how this passage is an example of DRAMATIC IRONY. If you cannot remember the definition for dramatic irony, you can look the term up in your literature book. Come, gentle night; come, loving, black- browed night; Give me my Romeo; and, when he shall die, Take him and cut him out in little stars, And he will make the face of heaven so fine That all the world will be in love with night And pay no worship to the garish sun.

Juliet: ROMEO…? DEAD…? WHHHHHAAAAAATTTTT!!!??? Nurse: (Ignoring Juliet) I saw his bloody corpse with my own eyes!!!!! How could this be!? Juliet: WWWWhhhhaaaaaa!!!! I. Am. Going. To. Die. Nurse: Tybalt was my very best friend in the entire world! WWWhhhhaaaaaa! Juliet: Romeo AND Tybalt…WWHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Juliet: Uh. Muh. Guh. Did Romeo kill Tybalt? Nurse: Duh! Juliet: He’s the worst. I’m an idiot. Nurse: Men are the WORST…especially HIM! Juliet: Giiirrrrllll...you better watch yourself talking about my man. Nurse: He killed your COUSIN! Juliet: He’s my HUSBAND! This. Is. The. Worst. Day. Of. My. Life. Continued…
