Values and beliefs Internalized Within the psyche of an LGBT2SQ+ individual Self-hatred, self-harm, suicidal ideation *Homophobia, lesbophobia, transphobia, are types of aversion and hostility towards or fear of those whose orientation is (or perceived to be) not heterosexual. *social ideologies which stigmatise homosexuality.   *These negative feelings or attitudes towards non-heterosexual behaviour, identity, relationships and community, can lead to homophobic behaviour. *observed in one’s own personal experiences of jokes, abuse, or violence *culturally through specific values and beliefs *systemically and institutionally through policies, procedures, rules [especially in housing workplaces, and schools]. *internalized within the psyche of an LGBTTQ individual and can result in self-hatred, self-harm or even suicidal ideation or attempts.
