1 Chr. 11: “ 15 Three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David at the cave of Adullam, when the army of Philistines was encamped in the Valley of Rephaim. 16 David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then at Bethlehem. 17 And David said longingly, “Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem that is by the gate!” 18 Then the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate and took it and brought it to David. But David would not drink it. He poured it out to the LORD.”

Keith Green “No Compromise is what the whole Gospel of Jesus is all about... 'For I tell you...no man can serve two masters...' . In a day when believers seem to be trying to please both the world and the Lord (which is an impossible thing), when people are far more concerned about offending their friends than offending God, there is only one answer...Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him!”

Ken Robinson “An aesthetic experience is one in which your senses are operating at their peak. When you’re present in the current moment. When you’re resonating with this thing you’re currently experiencing. When you are fully alive. An anesthetic is when you shut your senses off, and deaden yourself to what’s happening.”
