Do Now: BLACK PANTHERS AL QAEDA - TERRORISTS Sons of Liberty Colonists Description: An organization for African Americans that was created in the 1960s to promote Black Power (civil rights for African America ns) and to oppose police brutality. Description: Al Qaeda and its leaders, Osama Bin Laden created Al Qaeda because they wanted to stop Western countries (like the U.S.) from being in Middle Eastern countries. Description: A secret organization that started to protest the British governmen t. In the name of “Liberty,” they were responsible for many acts of violence . They burned the reco rds of the Court, robbed the home of government officials. Q: In your opinion, is it okay for these groups to use violence in order to achieve what they want? Why?
