Koala Facts Diet Koalas are herbivores which means they only eat plants. The main plant they eat is eucalyptus leaves Description Koalas look a little like pandas but they are more furry and they are grey.[koalas are not bears like pandas]. Life Cycle It takes 35 days for the koala to be born, Koalas are born by live birth. A baby koala does NOT look like an adult koala at all!! A baby koala looks like a little pink blob with no fur at all. Koalas have 1 baby a year[they are born in a pouch]. The koalas parents watch their baby for 7 months after that they are on their own.
