When using the steps make sure that the handholds are also used which will make sure that the three points of contact are maintained A minimum distance of 1 metre should be kept from any exposed edge to avoid falling None slip safety shoes must be worn Do not pull a pallet truck to the edge of the vehicle or onto the tail-lift, push it so that you can see where the edge is and you do not fall Health & Safety Guidance
