5 What we have achieved? WE HAVE BUILT EFFECTIVE PLATFORM OF COOPERATION: Participation in the monitoring committees (country and regional level): assessing on the application of Accessibility & Non Discrimination for PwD Participation in consultations regarding documents and executive legal acts related to the Cohesion Policy. Implementation of projects co-financed under the ESF / ERDF 5 5

OP Fight Against Discrimination. Alliance ONCE Foundation since 2000 with ESF. The employment of vulnerable people: a smart social investment. Assessment of the impact. PPP Main figures ( ): people participated, trained, jobs, businesses created KEY FINDING: The economic returns of the investment is higher than the expenditures: 1€ invested = 1.4€ returns For every euro invested in the OP, an average of 91 cents would be recovered through various types of tax returns 6 6

7 And for the future… Europe faces a formidable challenge
Multi-level, inclusive and innovative approaches based on partnerships are still needed. Stronger involvement of civil society in the implementation of the funds. ESF should adapt to new times and new needs. Spending the Funds can’t be an objective itself: our goal are HH.RR, PERSONS Allowance of the ESF not only based on GDP? Real simplification. Starting programmes on time. 7 7
