2
Epidemiology Reports – Integrated With Lab and Gene
Ability to include lab and gene results into one single report. Each tab can be defined to include the various result from the modules to be included.
3
2 Epi Report Types The infection control report pulls Lab, Micro, and Gene results into a single report. The Integrated statistics report pulls statistics for Lab, Micro, and Gene into a single report.
4
Infection Control Report Lab
Select Infection Control type report. Select Lab Results check box. On the Main page specify the common qualification criteria such as date range, include/exclude Ward, Department, the report layout and the sorting criteria.
5
Infection Control Report Lab
On the Lab criteria tab, list the SoftLab tests to qualify. Specify the type of flagging for the test to qualify. Choices are Only flag set, Not flag set, or both flag set and not set.
6
New SoftLab RBS rules A new type “B” of SoftLab RBS rule was added to flag a SoftLab result in order to qualify to the Epidemiology report. Rules are to be defined for the particular result that should be flagged. If all results for the test qualify, there is no need to define a rule.
7
SoftLab RBS Please note: Rules should be defined for only one condition per rule. If multiple tests are defined within a single rule, all tests may be flagged. If a rule contains multiple conditions, such as Source and test code, then the test to be flagged should be specified in the Tests field in the top section of the rule.
8
Infection Control Report Gene
Select Infection Control type report. Select Gene Results check box. On the Main page specify the common qualification criteria such as date range, include/exclude Ward, Department, the report layout and the sorting criteria.
9
Infection Control Report Gene
On the Gene criteria tab, define the test to qualify. The result field must include the result field code as it is defined the Gene test setup. The user defined field could be some UDF defined for that test in Gene. Define the test result to qualify using the operator and value field.
10
Integrated Statistic Report
The integrated Statistic report will produce positivity rates for Lab and Gene as well as micro results.
11
Integrated Statistic Report
In order to define a statistic report, first select Integrated Statistic type, then select Define search criteria and select the module. On the main page define the qualification criteria. On the module specific tab, specify the tests and results to qualify.
12
Integrated Statistic Report
At least 2 runs must be defined. The numerator run should be defined to qualify all “Positive” results. If a test has multiple possible results, a run for each result may be defined if the need to calculate positivity rate per result is desired. The denominator run should be defined to include ALL tests regardless of result.
13
Integrated Statistic Report
Once the numerator and denominator runs have been defined, the statistic report can now be defined. Select integrated statistic report type, and define statistic check box. Notice all qualification criteria except date range is not available. Qualification criteria will be taken from the defined runs.
14
Integrated Statistic Report
On the module specific tab, define the numerator run ID and the denominator run ID. Multiple runs may be defined.
