Remember to multiply in SN, you multiply the coefficients (put in SN if needed), then add the exponents. To divide in SN, you divide the coefficients (put in SN if needed), then subtract the exponents.

2. SPS9. Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information to explain the properties of waves.
a. Analyze and interpret data to identify the relationships among wavelength, frequency, and energy in electromagnetic waves and amplitude and energy in mechanical waves.
b. Ask questions to compare and contrast the characteristics of electromagnetic and mechanical waves.
c. Develop models based on experimental evidence that illustrate the phenomena of reflection, refraction, interference, and diffraction.
d. Analyze and interpret data to explain how different media affect the speed of sound and light waves.
e. Develop and use models to explain the changes in sound waves associated with the Doppler Effect.

4. Bluff
The class is divided into two groups & I take turns giving each group a question.
When I give a question to group A, all the students who think they know the answer stand up.
Students in group B get to decide which group A students should answer
If the selected student can answer the question, that group gets as many points as the number of people who stood up
If the student cannot answer the question, then group B gets to answer (any student in that group can answer) and group B will get the same number of points.
I will alternate the teams who get to answer the question first. (A, B, B, A, etc.)
