1 Integrated National Reporting System of Radioactive Waste Management in Indonesia (SALT)
By developing SALT reporting system, BAPETEN will be able to control national radioactive wastes management. Reporting Forms: The Flow of SALT : Implemented mostly for nuclear research facilities in 2016, for medical (2017) and industrial (2018) facilities. Challenges of SALT: unharmonized waste units, inconsistent reporting and potential massive reporting. For long term strategy, safety culture awareness of the licensees will provide main support. Ferdinan Manuel Siahaan (122), Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN), Indonesia IAEA International Conference on The Safety of Radioactive Waste Management (CN-242), Vienna, November, 2016.
