EDINA HORNET FOOTBALL Mission Statement:
To provide student athletes with mentoring, role models, support, motivation, and the experience to successfully prepare themselves for career goals and graduation. Student athletes will have the opportunity to participate in a positive competitive athletic experience while striving to win a state tournament football championship.

EHS 2018 FOOTBALL BUDGET 2018 EHS Football Operational Budget:
$101,000 Covers 6 coaches salaries, camps, team meals/beverages, apparel, transportation, photography, trainers, filming, awards, recognition, year end banquet, etc. 2018 EHS Football Improvements Budget: $52,000 2018 needs = New home/away uniforms, ECC locker room and meeting room upgrades, blocking sled, etc. $153,000 TOTAL; WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

MVP CARD PROGRAM MVP Card Program will generate 40%+ of the annual revenue needed to run EHS football program. Supports 27 local merchants / 92% return to Edina Football. Each player Grades 9-12 is asked to sell 20 MVP cards. Cards distributed on August 9th (uniform pick up date) All cards must by sold by August 29th! Bring $400 payable to EHS Football - Once player has sold his 20 cards, the $400 check is returned. $360 Buy Out option.

DIBS VOLUNTEERING There are around 200 volunteer spots to fill!

EHS TOUCHDOWN CLUB Launching all new “EHS Touchdown Club” that will be made up of a core group of EHS Football parents who are willing to serve with the Captains’ Parent Group to plan/execute activities that support EHS Football throughout the season. TD Club volunteers will perform tasks over and above their respective DIBS responsibilities and will serve on committees that will be led by a Captain’s Parent. UPDATE – Thanks to all the volunteers who signed up for the Touchdown Club! We have all the help we need this year and are no longer seeking volunteers. THANK YOU!

Equipment Checkout for the ECC Tues 5/29 3:30-7pm Wed 5/30 3:30-7pm Mon 6/4 3:30-6:30pm All registrants will get a T-shirt and Shorts Mini-Camp and practice (Grades 9-12) - 7-9 Mon, June 4th-Wed, June 6th Practice (Grades 9-12) Mondays - June 11th, 18th, 25th, July 16th, July 23rd Speed & Strength (Grades 9-12) (Mon & Wed - ECC) June 11, 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th, 27th July 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th 11 sessions total Passing League (grades 10-12) June 13, 20, and July 11th, 18th from 6-8 pm. July 21st from 9 am-11 pm.
