5. Correction Examples Example 1:
I made the mistake of adding first instead of multiplying. I need to follow order of operations. I will multiply 5 x 3 then + 2 = 17

7. Example 3:
The mailman has 3 hours to complete his mail route. It takes him 30 minutes to deliver for each town. How many towns can be accomplish during his shift? 6
Sentence: I made a problem solving error because I JUST wrote the answer of 6. Although the answer is correct, I did not include my work or a unit. Since the mailman takes 30 minutes per town and there are 2 – 30 minute times periods in an hour, I took 2 X the 3 hours to get 6 towns.
The answer is The mailman can accomplish 6 towns during his shift.
