2. Childhood & Family Mary was born on May 22,1844
Mary was born in Allegheny city (now part of Pittsburg)
Cassatt had 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
She used her family members in her paintings.

3. Education She got home schooled by her mom
Mary did most of her studying in Europe
She was inspired by children and when she was in Paris with her family were she saw art galleries and Museums
Edgar degas influenced her to be an artist

Died in Beaufresne near France at age 82
My opinion is that she was very talented
And that she was a little bit boring because all she would draw was children and mothers
