8. Pros and Cons
Very convenient if you frequently travel or spend time at another residence such as a summer house. You have access to everything on the hard drive so no need for CD-RW’s or flash drives and its less likely to fail.
A drawback is that the computer you will be remote accessing will have to be left running and connected to the internet while you are gone which will probably increase your electric bill 

Overall, using remote desktop access is a good choice If you need to access both data and specific applications on another computer, but other less expensive options with fewer technical requirements should not be overlooked……..I’m just saying, who’s got money these days?
