She was the wife of President Franklin Roosevelt. She worked beside her husband and helped him a lot when he got sick. She believed that all people should be treated the same.

Eleanor was a Human Rights Leader
She believed that all people should be treated equally. She helped draft the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights after Word War II. The declaration states all persons are born free and equal in dignity.

Her nickname was Ellie. She had 6 children. She later became known as the First Lady of the World!
