I will analyze informational text for author's purpose and support. Opening- Get out your homework and trade with your table partner.

3. Opening Edit and Revise your table partner’s introduction.
Write your name at the bottom.
Complete the following:
Circle the hook and rate it 1-3 (1-needs revision, 2-good but not great, or 3- effective.)
Box the Bridge- does it effectively tie the hook to the topic? Explain how. Does it relate the hook to the topic or not?
Underline the Thesis- Explain if the thesis is effective. Is it an opinion? Does it explain what the rest of the paper is about? Is it in 3rd person?
