SETUP
The thesis will be made in a cooperation between 3 departments in Ikea of Sweden; Business Area Textiles – Ikea testlab – Requirement Development department.
The study and the report shall be conducted/written in english

BACKGROUND
Ikea use a ISO standard (ISO ) for Flammability of Bedding Items – sheets, quilt cover, pillow cases.
Using differnt labs give different test result and there is a need to see what influence the result and how we continue forward.
There is a legal requirement in France for filled quilts and pillows.

5. Do additional testing according to the ISO test method.

Withdrawl information from Ikea data base of test reports and evaluate the information to identify reasons for failed test results.
Do additional testing according to the ISO test method.
Conclude and recommend a way going forward.
