Study profile
The profile covers the longitudinal observation period in the BHDSS from May 12, 2008, to Dec 31, cases had radiological pneumonia with consolidation, 17 136 had clinical pneumonia, 265 had pneumococcal pneumonia, and 672 had hypoxic pneumonia. All values are crude. The adjustment corrects for trends in the rate of patients presenting who met referral criteria. BHDSS=Basse Health and Demographic Surveillance System.
