Date 10/4/16 Autonomous Battery Charging of Quadcopter
Accomplishments/Status. Upcoming Milestones Moving forward with Inductive Charging. Have developed a rough list of materials that could be used in our charging station. Problem statement Justify our design and create comparison charts to prove why it’s the best choice. Plan Forward Issues: Order parts for hardware design Research most affective way locate and dock quadcopter on charging station After researching and simulating some simple inductive charging circuits we are finding that the power transfer is not as effective as conductive charging where the plates directly touch.
