Homemade Mac and Cheese

Ingredients 12 ounces macaroni (1 small box uncooked)
4 tablespoons butter (1/2 stick) 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups milk 8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut into chunks Salt and pepper

Directions Melt butter in a large saucepan on medium heat.
Add flour and whisk together. Whisk in milk and cook over medium heat until mixture starts to bubble and thickens. Stir constantly!!!!! Flour must cook but not burn!!!

Directions Continued 5. Add cut up chunks of Velveeta and allow to melt...Stir constantly!!!! 6. Sit mixture aside. 7. Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain…Make sure to add SALT to boiling water!! Do not overcook noodles or they will be mushy!!!

Directions 8. Mix the heated cheese sauce and cooked noodles together. 9. Pour mixture into baking dish and top with 1 cup shredded cheese. 10. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted on top.
