Polynomials of High Degree

As the degree of a polynomial function increase it becomes more difficult to create and accurate graph but here are some hints that will give us a STRONG estimate of the graph. Many polynomial functions can be divided into two groups based on the highest degree of the polynomial. Highest degrees that are odd numbers are ODD functions. Highest degrees that are Even numbers are EVEN functions.

The degree of a polynomial tells you how many x intercepts or roots a polynomial MAY have.
