Fig Readmission within 30 days after lower extremity bypass surgeries. The 30-day readmission rates among patients undergoing lower extremity bypass surgeries were as follows: 11% within the first week after discharge, 40% within 2 weeks after discharge, 69% within 3 weeks after discharge, and 96% within 4 weeks after discharge from the hospital.
