Upcoming Events September 12 – reading fundraiser kickoff October 4 – Fall Pictures October 10 – PIE meeting 9:30 October 19 – 1st Quarter Ends October 19 – Pretzel Day October 19 – Super Hero/Antibully Assembly October –Book Fair/Grandparent Lunch We are now color experts! We have been practicing identifying and writing color words, as well as reading many color themed books. We did a writing piece from A Color of His Own, a science experiment mixing colors from White Rabbit’s Color Book , and learned why flamingos are pink and other facts from Sylvie and a nonfiction book on Flamingos. We met with students in Ms. Blake’s class and worked cooperatively with them on some fun activities! Despite the heat wave this week, students continue to do a fantastic job! Looking forward to the cool weather ahead!
