5 History / Background -The Linskill Trust took over the building on 1 st April 2006 -30 year peppercorn lease

6 Linskill Trust -Independent Charity and Company Ltd by Guarantee -Employs 27 staff -10 permanent volunteers and 40 placements per year

7 Linskill Nursery - Registered with OFSTED - Recently approved Nursery Status - Currently 26 children at one time. - Moving Nursery to increase capacity to 38

8 Room Hire and Office Hire - 12 rooms for casual hire - 28 permanent rooms to hire Catering - Café open six days a week - Provide meals to Percy Hedley and Nursery each day - Buffets and Events catering

9 Events and Fundraising - Large Hall (Capacity 350) - Licensed Bar - Conferences, Weddings, Parties - Fundraising

12 Community Engagement - Community Events - Community Newsletters - Clear Branding - Social Media and Website

13 Environment - Marks and Spencer installed 42 solar panels in October 2011 - Generates 7000 kwh of electricity per annum - Trust now looking to install double glazing and new boilers

15 Income / Grants -Trust received two year setup grant from NTC -Trust also received five year BLF grant until November 2012 -Capital Grants to improve building -Target to become 100% self-sufficient by 2016

18 Income / Grants -Aim to cover remaining revenue funding by; -New Nursery expected to double income over three years -Office Hire; four permanent rooms available to hire -Refurbish Rooms and building to attract more customers
