2 Lesson 12: Vocabulary 1. Pyromaniac (noun) – a person who has an irresistible desire to start fires. Example sentence: The boy’s pyromania forced him to set his house on fire just to see it burn.

3 Lesson 12: vocabulary 2. Barometer (noun) – an instrument for measuring the pressure of the atmosphere. Example sentence: I used a barometer to measure the pressure in the wind.

4 Lesson 12: vocabulary 3. Hydrophobia (noun) – fear of the water.
Example sentence: The wicked witch of the west must have had hydrophobia because of the effect the bucket of water had on her.
