Quick and Easy Breakfasts for School Age Children

Dressed Up Greek Yogurt
Plain or vanilla Greek yogurt Add fruit, nuts, jam, or honey according to your child’s taste Stir ingredients together

Fruit Smoothie 2 cups fruit or frozen berries ½ cup orange juice
½ cup water ½ cup Greek yogurt 1 frozen banana 1 tbsp honey Blend all ingredients until smooth

Homemade Pop Tart 2 slices of whole wheat bread 1 tsp butter, softened
1.5 tbsp jam, thinly sliced fruit, and/or peanut butter Lightly butter both pieces of bread Spread jam on one piece of bread, leaving ½ inch border Top with other slice of bread Cut off crust and seal bread together around the edges Lightly toast

Morning Milkshake 1 cup milk 1 tbsp honey
1tbsp peanut or another type of nut butter 1 frozen banana ¼ tsp cinnamon Blend all ingredients until smooth

Breakfast Egg Burrito 1 egg (cooked to taste) 1 tsp shredded cheese
Diced avocado, tomato, vegetables of choice, or salsa 1 whole wheat tortilla Wrap all ingredients together in tortilla as you would a burrito
