COMPETITION FORMAT
Gisborne Golf Club is once again proud to stage the Dixon Advisory 2 person Teams Championship.
Golfers are invited to compete in this prestigious event which will take the format of a 4 person Gentsomes competition (male, female or mixed) where the 3 best individual scores will count to the team score. The winning team (nett score) will win the Major Prize of 3 day golf weekend at Yarrawonga for 4 golfers valued at $1,750
Your entry includes bacon & egg rolls on arrival, on course and post round drinks,
2 course luncheon, and prizes (including nearest to the pins and longest drives).
Registration & Breakfast: 7.00am Assembly: 7.30am
Shotgun Start: 8.00am Conclusion of play: 12.30pm (estimate)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To be eligible for the major prize, entries are limited to amateurs who are members of affiliated clubs recognised by Golf Australia and Overseas Associations as are affiliated with or recognised by this Association. The Committee has the right to refuse to any person without being required to give a reason for such refusal
The competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews Scotland, together with any local rules as are in force on the course over which the competition takes place. If any dispute arises on any point, it shall be decided by the Committee in charge of the Competition, who’s decision shall be final
Competitors should hold official Golf Australia (maximum 36 for men, 45 for women) handicaps to be eligible to compete for the major prize & title. Competitors without official Golf Australia handicaps will be allocated a handicap of 18 for Men and 27 for Women.
In the event of a tie, the winners shall be decided on countback as per Golf Australia Regulations
Eligible substitutes will be accepted
No refund of entry will be issued after the closing date
Entries close Friday 23rd November, 2018 or when capacity field is reached.
