2. What you will learn! How to make a custom character
How to input him/her into the game.

3. First Step!
You open RPG Maker VX ACE to see the default starting map named “MAP 1”.

4. Second Step!
You click on the little person looking icon at the top.

5. Third Step! Click on it to bring up the character generator.
Adjust your character by clicking the downward arrows to choose the way you want your character to look.

6. Side Note!
If you really want a ugly looking character hit the “Generate Random” Button and you will get something that 9 out of 10 times is either really funny or just sad.
(Yeah)

7. Fourth Step!
After you have your character the way you want him/her then, you need to click on BOTH the “Output Face” & “Output Character” buttons to save them to the games directory.

8. Side Note!
If you really want to make a good game save several different facial expressions to give your character a few added dimensions.

9. Fifth step!
You now close the character generator and click on the button that looks like a folder with something blue over top of it. This Button is called “Database” as it sounds this is your games’ system.

10. Sixth Step! Now the Database form is displayed.
At this point you can do one of two things.
First, you can just change the pictures of the default character(s) to your new character and change the name.
Second, you can click the “Change Maximum” to change the total number of main characters.
