We take our disciple-making cue from three commands Jesus gives us about love: Love the L ORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind (Luke 10:27). Jesus says This is the greatest and most important commandment (Matthew 22:38). To love God with all of our being – thats worship. A disciple should experience God in worship, both in public and in private contexts. Every disciple should gather with a local congregation to worship (Hebrews 10:25).

We take our disciple-making cue from three commands Jesus gives us about love: Love your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27). Jesus says this command is a second to set alongside the first and greatest (Matthew 22:39, The Message), and all the Law and the prophets depend on these two (Matthew 22:40). To love our neighbor means to see a need and meet that need – thats ministry and mission. A disciple should engage their world, intent to address the needs we see with the Gospel. Every disciple has a ministry and a mission.

We take our disciple-making cue from three commands Jesus gives us about love: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another (John 13:34). Jesus says to His disciples, I give you a new commandment (John 13:34). To love one another, our brothers and sisters in Jesus, like He has loved us, we must do life together to serve and build up one another. A disciple should encourage growth and maturity in other Christ followers. Every disciple grows best in a small group.

We aim to make disciples to … 1.Love God – experience God in worship; 2.Love our neighbor – engage our world in ministry and mission; 3.Love one another – encourage one another to grow in life group communities. A healthy disciple
