2 Other High  School Options                  Recruitment will occur in fall of 2018.  Please see your Middle School Counselor for an application Earn an Associate’s Degree with free Dual Credit  7 CTE areas – Business, OSET, Machining, Welding, Criminal Justice, Energy Tech, Culinary Arts Located at Odessa College LRC Building  No traveling is allowed to OHS/PHS for band, sports, music, etc.  Earn up to 60 hours dual credit toward Associate's Degree – Free Dual Credit  Includes any Degree Area planning  Located on the Odessa College campus All-academic college-prep high school  Designed to equip students with 21st century skills Project-based learning & Dual Credit Opportunities Traveling allowed for all UIL sports and some CTE pathways

After successful completion of Algebra I content: Geometry Algebra II (Student and parent may opt out of Algebra II and the Distinguished Plan after completing Algebra I and Geometry.) One additional math course = 4 MATH CREDITS

7 = 4 SCIENCE CREDITS Science Science Credits IPC
Biology – Can start with 9th grade Biology if Passed 8th Grade STAAR AND  STEM endorsement OR Choose Biology   Two additional science courses (Physics or Chemistry are suggested) = 4 SCIENCE CREDITS

Additional Information All Students (and their parents) Should Know….. Must Pass Courses With 70 Or Higher to Receive Credit and 90% Attendance Is Mandatory Full year courses are averaged if taken in the same school year.

To Qualify, Students Must: Maintain a 2.75 grade point average, Complete the Recommended, Distinguished Achievement Program or Foundation with Endorsement Graduation Plan Volunteer at least 50 hours of community service by senior year Community Service Requirements: 9th grade - 5 hours 10th grade - 10 hours 11th grade - 15 hours 12th grade - 20 hours (can make up hours from previous years)
