For example, the SIAMS Evaluation Schedule, Valuing All God’s Children, Mental Health and Well Being, Fruit of The Spirit, Developing Character Education, etc. highlight practical approaches to the implementation of the RSE (this will then link with the delivery in school in the wider context, e.g. science and PHSE, so RSE is not seen in silos).

provide clarity on the legal position with regards what is mandatory, and what is optional. This will be consistent with ‘flourishing and life in all its fullness’. ‘merge’ DfE requirements and C of E approach so schools know they are meeting the expectations of both. (In the style of the C of E mental health guidance) include guidance to schools on effective strategies to engage parents include a policy framework or model to be included within the document to support effective implementation. include online safety guidance and where schools are able to seek support and to minimize potential risk.
